The dinner was so delicious and at the end he surprised us with special spot outside the trip - star watching. We visited black camels and we had amazing evening in the middle of desert. We waited for the sunset and after my dream to ride camel became real.Mohammed was so kind to be my photographer. We had traditional tea around the fire and traditional Oman dinner. From Salalah visit to the park of incense trees, stop at the UNESCO site , but we did not enter .Finally, the tyres deflate and the journey over the dunes begins. To see the sunset well it is better to look for a high dune.I was very annoyed by the exaggerated display of off-road vehicles up and down the highest dunes to please tourists. Our guide Mohammid Ali was excellent, he was very knowledgeable and had brilliant English. He was a local man from Taqah, which we visited, and was able to share alot of information about local customs and history. He was first class. Our only complaint is that the tour was advertised as 6-8hours and it was much shorter. We had seen everything on the itinerary after 4 hours and our guide kindly offered to take us to an extra town, Mirbat, to ssee the fishing boats and market. Our tour guide Mohammed Ali was amazing, we loved his energy which made the tour even better. Mohammed Ali was humorous, witty, caring, and extremely intelligent. He was punctual, and so easy to communicate with. We had the best time, and learnt so much from him. The views in the Desert were beautiful, the dinner at the campsite was delicious and the stargazing was out of this world.
