Lavish Buffet Breakfast at Crowne Plaza Resort Salalah
Breakfast at Crowne Plaza Resort Salalah is served daily in its all day dining restaurant – Darbat Restaurant. The resort is offering this lavish buffet breakfast on weekend for only OMR 10 net for 2 persons. This means that per person pays only 5 rials in a couple breakfast in Darbat Restaurant. Don’t miss this delicious breakfast, which is served every Friday and Saturday from 7 am to 10 am till 31st of March 2018. Start your weekend with this breakfast.
We had this breakfast on 16th March 2018, so this review is based on the breakfast served on that morning.
Darbat Restaurant
Darbat Restaurant is located on the left side of the main entrance of the resort. It has indoor air conditioned sitting area as well as outdoor pool facing open air area.
Beverages and Fresh Fruits
A variety of juices including fresh watermelon juice, fresh orange juice, chilled pineapple juice, carrot pineapple smoothie and flavored water was available to choose from.
Fresh fruits and fruit salad was there for a healthy start of the day.
They served us coffee and tea at our table.
Yogurt and Mortadellas
Plain yogurt, low fat yogurt and flavored yogurts were placed neatly on the buffet table along with selection of smoked Salmon, smoked Mackerel, smoked Turkey ham, Beef Mortadella and Chicken Mortadella.
Hot Breakfast Items
Hot breakfast options included Scrambled egg, Turkey Bacon, Chicken sausages, Grilled tomatoes, Baked beans, Sambar, Upma, Paratha, Vegetable fried rice and Potato wedges. Foul mudammas with all spices and garnishing and Fruits compotes were also there.
Arabic Options
Arabic options included Hummus, Mutable, Lebneh, Green beans salad, Arabic bread, Olives, Olive oil, Fresh vegetables with dressings, Arabic pickle and Arabic halwa.
Live Station
Fried egg, Poached egg, Scrambled egg, Egg omelette, Egg white omelette and Boiled egg can be ordered at live station.
The breakfast is great as we could order freshly made pancakes and waffles with our favorite sauces and syrups toppings options.
Bakery Section
Great variety of bakery items consisting of breads, croissants, pastries, muffins and cakes was available there.
Cereals
Cereal lovers can enjoy Corn flakes, all bran flakes, Choco pops and Dry muesli with low fat milk, full cream milk or soya milk and nuts.
Final Thoughts
This breakfast is highly recommended on the weekends in Salalah, as for 10 OMR net you can have this delicious buffet breakfast for 2 persons.
