Salalah is accessible by Cruise through one of the leading ports in the gulf region, Salalah Port. There are numerous cruises visiting Salalah every month.
Salalah is accessible by road also from UAE and Yemen directly and from other Gulf states through UAE. The travel time from Dubai to Muscat is 4 to 6 hours depending on the type of the vehicle. From Dubai to Salalah, the travel time is around 12 to 16 hours.
By road the journey can be carried out by self-driven cars. In addition to this, there are several buses every day that run from Dubai to Salalah and Salalah to Dubai. Notable transport line is Gulf Transport Company (GTC), Oman National Transport Company (ONTC) and Al-Ghazala.
