Now for the tour. In advance we were contacted via WhatsApp and there is a WhatsApp group for every tour, which we find very professional and contemporary. 👍🏻 The communication is consistently great and uncomplicated. We were picked up at our hotel and it went to a small souvenir, sure who, like we did on holiday in Marrakech, the Al Haffa Souq was not spectacular now, but the little one got some souvenirs and was happy. Afterwards we went to Sultan Qaboos Mosque, very nice, like so many mosques we have already seen in Casablanca and Abu Dhabi. For women it is important that the arms and legs and the head are completely covered. We loved the many viewpoints, also that camels kept blocking our roads, a small highlight. The Blue Hole was a natural spectacle for young and old, the best thing we found at the end of the tour was when we could swim at Fazayah Beach. A dream of a beach 🙏🏻 We were very happy with our driver and guide Mohammed and our German speaking guide Rana. Beautiful walking on the sand dunes barefoot and enjoying the sunset from there. Our guide Mohammed, a wonderful person who remained in our hearts, accompanied us on this journey. A perfect driver in the sand dunes, he made us have fun!We also visited incense plantations, black dromedaries in the desert and the lost city. After dark they prepared dinner in the desert based on meat of dromedary and not only. We all spent the evening together enjoying the starry night smoking hookah.Finally night in a tent and wake up in the morning to see the sunrise and have breakfast. Specifically, on the way back after the night desert tour drove excessively fast on the downsloped curvy highway to Salalah putting on risk our family. He used many times the horn to move other drivers on the right side of the highway and mentioned he has a lot of spending tickets. On that curvy road the limit (I believe) is 100 and he was driving +-140. At the end of the toor we payed him and instead of a typical thank you he said a bizarre "well done". Not recommended.
