Dubai to Salalah By Bus

Salalah is accessible by road from United Arab Emirates as Oman and UAE shares a border. So all seven Emirates of United Arab Emirates; Sharjah, Dubai, Ras al-Khaimah, Abu Dhabi, Ajman, Fujairah and Umm al-Qaiwain are connected to Oman and Salalah by road. So no matter where you are living in UAE, you can come to Salalah by Road.

From Dubai to Salalah by bus, the travel time is around 16 hours, which can change depends on the load in the immigration office at the border. There is a daily bus departing from Deira at 2 pm. This is a 45 seats air-conditioned bus and is the only direct Dubai to Salalah bus service.

Trip Itinerary

29^th June 2023 – Thursday – Day 1

The bus will Depart from Dubai Bus Station (GTC Bus Station) at 2 pm. Location for meet up will be shared. Reach the spot at least one hour before the bus departure time.

30^th June 2023 – Friday – Day 2

Arrival at Salalah GTC Bus Station around 7 am. Dont miss the last hour journey on the bus thats the most fascinating one. You will discover the mesmerizing landscape of the Dhofar mountains. The view of Salalah city at dawn from the mountains is amazing. 

Beautiful Salalah team will meet and greet you in Salalah Bus Station. Drop the luggage at the hotel (hotel check in will be after 2 pm). We will go to have  Breakfast and then we will take you to the West Salalah Tour. 

Sightseeing Tour 1 – West Salalah Tour

The group will depart for a memorable tour on the western side of Salalah – Full Day West Salalah Tour after the breakfast. 

This tour will have a mesmerizing journey to the western side of Salalah city for full day and includes the  following places 

∙ Ayn Jarziz – the popular natural spring 

∙ Ittin Mountains on Jabal Qara – cave, a small trek and a great view of Salalah city from an  altitude of over a thousand feet. 

∙ Prophet Ayyub (Prophet Job) Tomb and spring – The prophet is mentioned in The Holy  Quran and the Holy Bible. 

∙ Titam Canyons – The mountain safari will continue to Titam  

∙ Frankincense farm, a photo stop on the way to Mughsail  

∙ Mughsail Beach – the famous white sand beach  

∙ Blowholes at Marneef cave – Mughsail Natural Fountains, the water jet from the blowholes  vary according to the season. 

∙ Masood Hidden Beach, is a Secret Beach in Salalah. You can see from the top view point in a  photo stop. 

First Night Stay in the hotel 

Check in to the hotel room will be after the return from the tour. The hotel will be 3-star Hamdan Plaza Hotel. The room provided will be the standard room. If you want  to upgrade to the deluxe or premium room, there will be an additional charge. Free wifi is provided in  the hotel. Hotel is near the Salalah Gardens Mall, which is the most popular mall in Salalah. You can walk  to the mall from the hotel for dinner. Dinner is not included in the package.  

1^st July 2023  – Saturday – Day 3

Sightseeing Tour 2 – East Salalah Tour

At 9 am, the group will depart for a memorable tour on the eastern side of Salalah – Full Day East Salalah  Tour. This mesmerizing tour on eastern side of Salalah is filled with amazing landscapes, mountain,  beaches and history – all in one tour & includes all the following places: 

∙ Taqa Castle, one of Dhofar’s most distinguished landmarks, built in the 19th century. And a  drive through Taqa Town 

∙ Taqa Beach and Cliff overlooking the beach 

∙ Wadi Darbat and the seasonal waterfalls – cascade waterfall and Travertines. The valley has  a canal where you can do kayaking or boating overlooking Jabal Al Qara / Dhofar Mountains 

∙ Tawi Attair Sinkhole the Birds Well, is a unique place to visit.  

∙ Jabal Samhan, which is the highest point in Dhofar region and is above 4000 feet. Clouds are  below the view point. 

∙ Wadi Hinna – where Baobab trees are located  

∙ Ayn Hasheer – A seasonal waterfall with a small hike 

∙ Anti-Gravity point – where car drives uphill on neutral

2^nd July 2023 – Sunday – Day 4

Transfer to the Bus Station 

You will be transferred to the Bus Station at 5:00 AM. The GTC bus will depart at 6 am. Have a safe Journey. You will reach Dubai around 10:00 pm.
