Parking Tip

During the Khareef season, the valley attracts many tourists, so parking near the lake can be difficult. Park your vehicle before reaching the lake, where ample space is available on both sides of the road. The short walk to the lake is enjoyable and scenic.

The lake at the end of the valley is the largest in Salalah and remains full year-round. In Khareef, surrounded by green mountains and clouds, it offers an irresistible boating experience. You can choose from various boats:

  • Power boat: For 2+ people, guided by a staff member. Cost: OMR 5 per round.
  • Paddle boat: For 2 people, perfect for 30-minute rides. Cost: OMR 3. Wear comfortable joggers for paddling.
