Awqad Public Park is a new addition to Salalah city’s parks. During the Khareef season (July/August 2022), it became one of the most visited spots at night. Visitors came to eat, walk, and relax.

The park covers around 100,000 square meters. It is located in North Awqad, near popular tourist attractions like Ittin, Titam, and Ayn Khor.

A 400-meter-long walking track runs along the fountain at the center of the park. The green area also has several canopies selling food items, making it easy for visitors to enjoy snacks while walking.

Next to the park, the new four-star Tulip Inn Majan Hotel has opened. Guests can stay at the hotel and enjoy evening walks in the park.

Other famous parks in Salalah include Salalah Public Park, Saadah Public Park, Razat Park, Ittin Park, and Ittin Walkway Park.

Ad Dahariz Park, Salalah’s only beach-facing park, is temporarily closed after the Mekunu cyclone passed.
