Update in 2020: Hala Bazar is now closed. In its place, China Commercial Town has opened. Originally located on the western side of Salalah, near the Raysut Cement Factory, Hala Bazar was a favorite spot for both locals and visitors, featuring a lively market, coffee shops, and a Dancing Fountain.

History and Overview

The first section of the bazar opened on 30th May 2016. Painted walls and vibrant walkways, along with metallic roofs and hanging CFL lights, gave it a modern and welcoming look. Each shop had sliding glass doors and offered a wide variety of products, including garments, mobile accessories, and home décor.

The bazar offered a lively shopping experience. Visitors could explore a variety of stores while enjoying the modern layout and vibrant colors.

Coffee and Relaxation
