Update in 2020: Hala Bazar is now closed. In its place, China Commercial Town has opened. Originally located on the western side of Salalah, near the Raysut Cement Factory, Hala Bazar was a favorite spot for both locals and visitors, featuring a lively market, coffee shops, and a Dancing Fountain.

The first section of the bazar opened on 30th May 2016. Painted walls and vibrant walkways, along with metallic roofs and hanging CFL lights, gave it a modern and welcoming look. Each shop had sliding glass doors and offered a wide variety of products, including garments, mobile accessories, and home décor.
