 Tour Program – Overnight in the Rub Al Khali Desert

 Day 1: Desert adventure and sunset

 Dhofar Mountains – A scenic drive through the mountains on the way from Salalah to the town of Thumrait.

 Frankincense Valley (Wadi Dawkah) – A UNESCO-listed site, famous for its natural frankincense trees.

 Lost City of Ubar – Mysterious ruins of an ancient city, known as the “Atlantis of the Sands” (entrance ticket $8 not included in the price and payable on site by credit card).

 Camel camp – Meet black desert camels and take unforgettable photos with these unique animals.

 Rub Al Khali Desert – The largest sandy desert in the world, surrounded by golden dunes and the silence of endless sands.

 Desert trekking – Discover the raw beauty of the desert landscape and admire its vast views.

 Camel ride (optional) – Experience an authentic desert camel ride like the ancient Bedouins (+15 USD / person).

 Dune bashing (Sand Bashing) – Feel the thrill of driving over sandy hills in a 4×4 vehicle with an experienced driver.

 Overnight stay in a Bedouin camp – Spend the night in a traditional Omani tent with a comfortable bed and bedding. In the evening, the guide returns to Salalah, and guests remain under the care of English-speaking camp staff, who ensure full comfort and safety.

 Day 2: Sunrise and return to Salalah

 Desert sunrise – Welcome the new day over the dunes and watch the desert come alive in the morning light.

 Traditional breakfast – Freshly prepared breakfast at the camp.

 Return to Salalah – After breakfast, departure from the camp and a drive through the mountains back to the city. End of the desert adventure at approximately 10:00.

• This tour involves walking on uneven, inclined ground.
• Desert temperatures vary greatly; bring sun protection and warm clothing.
• On windy days, desert sand may cause discomfort; bring eye protection and a scarf.
• Passengers must bring identification documents (e.g., passports) for a police checkpoint.
• People with back problems or health issues may find the long road trip uncomfortable.
• Sand bashing is not recommended for pregnant women, young children, or those with certain medical conditions.
• There will be no mobile phone coverage in the desert.
