Departure from the hotel at 8/9 am in 4×4 vehicles
The tour will start with a visit to Taqa Fort, which is one of the most prominent landmarks of Dhofar (Taqa State) and was built in the nineteenth century, as well as Al Askar Tower, the traditional Kufan House, and Taqa Beach. Then climb to the top of the viewpoint (Fath Taqa) and see the city landmarks from the top and the Arabian Sea on the other side. Smahram Archaeological Site
will be the next stop where you can see the remains of an ancient mada (3rd century BC)
and a small museum on site – Smahram Archaeological Exhibition.
The city of Murbat is the next destination, passing through the Damar Beach and reaching the Murbat Fort, the old city and its markets, the sea port and the Murbat Corniche. Ain Qashrub has a visit and watching the flow of horizontal waterfalls and streams (
depends on the waterfalls and seasonal rains).
