Itinerary:
1.Shaat: The Cliffside Gem
Our first stop is the breathtaking Shaat, where towering cliffs meet the Arabian Sea. Shaat is famous for its dramatic landscapes, lush greenery during the Khareef season, and cool, misty air. The clifftop vantage point offers panoramic views of the coastline, making it a perfect spot for photography and reflection. You can take in the wild beauty of the sea crashing against the rugged cliffs while enjoying the peace and quiet of this remote area.
2.Rakhyout: Secluded and Untouched
From Shaat, we head westward to the serene fishing village of Rakhyout. Nestled between towering mountains and the sea, Rakhyout feels like a hidden paradise far removed from the hustle and bustle of the city. The beach here is tranquil, with crystal-clear waters and soft sands, making it a great spot for a peaceful walk or a picnic by the sea. Rakhyout is also a wonderful place to witness traditional Omani coastal life, with local fishermen going about their day.
3.Dalkut: The Last Village Before Yemen
The final stop on this extended tour is Dalkut, and Sarfait, the last village before the Yemeni border. Dalkut is known for its lush surroundings, ancient baobab trees, and the traditional way of life that has been preserved for generations. The journey to Dalkut offers stunning views of the mountains, valleys, and coastline, and upon arrival, you’ll feel as though you’ve entered a different world. Dalkut’s unique location provides the perfect end to our journey, with the chance to explore the natural beauty of the Dhofar region before heading back to Salalah.
On the way to Dalkut, you’ll experience the beauty of Omani nature at its finest, with plenty of opportunities for photography and a chance to see one of the most isolated areas of the country.
Along the way, you’ll also encounter historical landmarks and panoramic viewpoints, providing a deeper connection to the rich culture and history of the region. Whether you’re swimming in the crystal-clear waters, exploring the rugged coastline, or simply soaking in the stunning vistas, this tour promises an unforgettable experience of Salalah’s most beautiful beaches.
