Islam is A Monotheist Religion
In fact, Islam is a monotheistic religion that teaches that there is only one God (Allah), and that Muhammad is a messenger of God. It is an Abrahamic Religion.
Who is Muhammed?
Muhammad (PBUH) is the Prophet sent in Arab in 7th century. He was in the generation of Ibrahim, from his son Ismail, who is the elder brother of Ishaq (Isaac).
Muslims believe him as the last messenger of Allah.
What is Quran?
The Holy Quran is the book of Muslims. It is basically the words of Allah and He himself mentioned it as his words in the book. Interestingly the book mentioned Prophet Abrahim, Prophet Moses, Prophet Jesus and others sent before Prophet Mohammed.
